Year 4 recently had a wonderful themed World War 2 day. They were they were very busy:

• making and flying spitfire planes
• walking to Teddington Station and pretending to be evacuated
• dressing up like an evacuee and making their own placards
• making mock banana sandwiches out of parsnips
• trying nettle soup

We were even lucky enough to have a brilliant guest speaker and listen to a fabulous talk all about World War 2.
