On Wednesday 7th July year 6 participated in Borough Sports, competing against 34 other Richmond Schools. It was a fantastic day for the 8 children who participated in the event. The Y5 Junior Safety Officers (JSOs) have won the JSO of the Year Borough trophy – for all the work they have done this year!!
The Y6 Boys’ Cricket Team and supports travelled to Hove yesterday, to take part in the South East Regional Finals which were played on the Sussex County Cricket ground.
On Friday 25th June, children from Y3, 4, 5 and 6 participated in a Quadkids event, against 5 other Richmond Schools, organised by Motive8, on the St Mary’s running track.
While England were preparing to play Slovenia, the year 6 cricket team, plus the growing band of supporters, went up to Regents Park to take part in the Middlesex County Finals of the Asda Kwik National Cricket Tournament.

It has been an action packed term at Collis.
The mixed Year 5 cricket team was a real asset to the school when they competed in the Borough tournament at NPL.
Congratulations to the Collis rounders team, who won the Borough rounders tournament.
We were very lucky this week when the ‘Quatium Theatre’ group came to perform a maths problem solving play called ‘The Countback Kid’ to Years 1 – 6.
The girls and boys cricket teams took part in the annual Year 6 cricket festival, at Richmond Cricket Club, this week.
We had a fantastic time when the Circus came to Collis on the 28th April to 30th April 2010.
30 Junior School Choir members attended the Singing Festival 2009 at The Rose Theatre in Kingston.
Richmond Boys’ Football Festival took place on Thursday, 22nd April at NPL.
A pupil in Year 5 is the regional winner in the Sainsbury’s writing competition.
