On Wednesday 18th January, 12 lucky children got the privilege of meeting Mr Michael Rosen!

This week, all the children in Year 2 took part in a free scooter training session. They have learnt how to emergency stop and weave about safely on their scooters. They all thoroughly enjoyed their training and are now safer on the roads!! Well done Year 2!

The sun was shining and Bushy Park was awash with over 100 Collis Mums, Dads, dogs, water, medals and children all keenly anticipating the start of the inaugural Collis 5K Fun Run. After a few safety announcements, including beware of lively deer and especially stag parties, the horn was blown and off they went.

On the week of the 7th November, year 6 went on a trip to Gunnersbury Park Museum.
On Tuesday 8th November Year 2 made the long and exciting journey to the RAF Museum in Hendon, as part of our topic of ‘Remembrance’.
At the end of National Baking Week, Collis children competed for Year Group prizes by entering cup-cake-size cakes.
As part of out India project with Nelson school, Jeremy Hicks, a parent from Year One came in to demonstrate how to make jewellery out of food!
Over 20 orchestra members from Years 3-6 attended the Instrumental Day 2011 on Monday 13th June at The Landmark Arts Centre.
On Wednesday June 8th 2011 all the Reception children took part in a wonderful Fun Day.
On Monday 20th June, Collis took part in the Year 3&4 Schools Tennis Competition at Grey Court School.
What an achievement to be the 2nd best rounders team in the South of London!
