‘Year 5 is absolutely brilliant! It’s one step closer to being top of the school. We did lots of superb activities.’ Frankie

Literacy

‘My favourite bit was when we wrote Greek myths, which was fun and made us push our creative side when creating monsters, Gods and heros.’ Megan

Maths

The part that I enjoyed the most was when we got to create a 3D shape softplay area. We also enjoyed making a farm board game including working out all the prices that it would cost to feed the animals on the farm.’ Samantha

‘Science was really fun. My favourite part was when we learnt about the earth, moon and sun. We even got a man to come in and talk to us about space in an inflatable dome….which was really cool because the man projected the stars on the ceiling it looked really magical.’ Holly

‘We learnt about the Tudors, which was really fun because we got to go to Hampton court, we went into the haunted corridor and the lights kept going on and off which was a bit scary!’ Josie

‘This was probably the best subject because we had a great time leaning about St Lucia and when the steel drum band came it was just like we were there in St Lucia.’ Lucy
