CSA
Welcome to Collis and a warm welcome to new parents and carers joining us this year.
For those who have joined us this year the Collis School Association (CSA) is the parent & teacher association at Collis. Our aims are to:
- Enhance the learning experience of our children by creating a better learning environment for staff and children.
- Cultivate the relationship between children, parents and the school through the wide variety of social and fundraising events and activities held throughout the year.
We are a very active PTA successfully raising between £20-25,000 a year. We have contributed to many school projects including: the refurbishment of the School Kitchen, Infant library, Infant playground and school minibus.

There are five ways we let you know what is happening:
- Upcoming Events are available on this website
- There are notice boards all around the school and they always have our contact details, a calendar of events and special promotions.
- The CSA Newsletter is produced fortnightly and sent electronically; printed copies are always available in the school office.
- Class Reps; each class is requested to elect a class rep who will be our link to all the parents of Collis.
- And me, I’m in the play ground most days, normally wearing a bright yellow cycling jacket, so come and say hello. I’m Sue Croft chairman of the CSA.
