Fundraising at Collis (CSA)
Parent Power
Thanks to the time and energy generously donated by the parents of Collis pupils, an amazing £20- 25,000 is raised each year to help enrich the educational environment for the children of the school. Over the years, this money has been used to refurbish the school kitchen, the infant library, the infant playground and to buy the school minibus. It has also been used to buy staging, lighting and blinds for the new hall as well as to provide a termly fund for play equipment for the children to use at lunchtime.
Why Do We Fundraise?
Fundraising is a vital part of school life, now more so than ever. Government cuts mean that the school has less capital funding available than in previous years to maintain the school – Collis’s capital budget has been cut from some £54,000 to £11,000. Fundraising provides the school with a vital lifeline without which key projects, such as funding new batteries for the school’s laptops, replacement computers, the refurbishment of Y1’s outside area as well as blinds for the infant library and Y1-Y6’s classrooms, would not be able to be progressed.
How You Can Help
We know how busy parents are which is why we are so grateful for your support. There are lots of different ways you can get involved too and it doesn’t have to take up too much of your time:
- Donate some time, however small, to help organise fundraising events
- Support our fundraising events by helping out on the day or simply coming along and enjoying the event
- Donate direct to the school via standing order, payroll giving, gift aid and match funding. To find out more, click here
- Use a Peel2Save card which gives offers & discounts off restaurants & shops in Hampton Hill, Teddington & Hampton. £5 from every card sold is given back to the CSA.

Fundraising at Collis is organised by The Collis School Association (CSA), the parent & teacher association at Collis. We aim to enhance the learning experience of our children by creating a better educational environment for staff and children. The CSA can only do what it does with the fantastic support we get from parents of Collis pupils. Thank you!
