Year 5 visited Hampton Court Palace. The rain did not dampen the children’s spirits, as they had a brilliant day finding out about:

• Tudor Kitchens and how all the food was cooked for Henry VIII.
• Court Life – Were you better off being rich or poor in Tudor times? It seems the poorer people at the Palace had less chance of getting their heads cut off!
• The Haunted Gallery and all the spooky stories…
• Field of the Cloth of Gold
